Details
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tape across openings on both sides (front/back). Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots, clear piece of tape near center of opening on both sides. Cream colored label with WB logo watermarks. (Not a cut-out.)
Sugar Kiss by Sugarfoot, the solo project of Leroy "Sugarfoot" Bonner, lead vocalist and guitarist of the legendary Ohio Players, is a funk album produced by Roger Troutman featuring heavy involvement from members of Zapp. This collaboration effectively blends the classic Ohio Players sound with Zapp's electro-funk style, creating a "maximum funk" experience often praised as a headphone masterpiece. A unique fact is that some US vinyl pressings were misprinted, substituting several intended tracks with older demos. Fan-favorites include the title track Kiss, the updated Ohio Players classic Fire '85, You Better Love Somebody, I Choose You, and Girl, I Need You. The album remains a cult favorite among funk enthusiasts for its bass-heavy grooves and talk box elements characteristic of the era.
