Details
Crackle glass, also known as ice glass or Grizac glass, is a decorative glass technique where molten glass is plunged into cold water, causing it to fracture. The glass is then reheated and encased in a clear layer to seal the cracks, creating a unique, spiderweb-like pattern. This particular pitcher, with its amber hue and crackled finish, is characteristic of decorative glassware produced in the mid-20th century.
